sustainability

We started this brand with one intention: to give something back to the oceans, the air, and the planet we depend on. Over time, that intention grew to include the people and cultures we work alongside, because sustainability was never just about the environment — it's about relationships, too.

Respect for nature, mindful use of resources, regeneration, and cultural heritage are woven into everything we do at Wai-Lā. Every day, in small and steady ways, we try to leave the world a little cleaner and a little kinder than we found it — for our children, and theirs.

Sustainability isn't a feature of Wai-Lā —
it's the reason we exist.

Regenerated Nylon Range

To ensure minimum waste and support our sustainability culture, we have partnered with suppliers whose core values support us.

ECONYL_Logo+Strapline_Primary_Black_CMYK.png

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is made by recovering nylon waste such as fishing nets, carpets destined for landfill and industrial plastic. Through a radical regeneration and purification

process, the nylon waste is recycled right back to its original purity, and it is processed into fossil-based quality nylon yarn for the fashion and interior industries.
